The Samsung charity gala raised a milestone of more than $1 million for children in need through the support of community-based foundations and charities. The year’s event was hosted by Regis Philbin and included more than 650 donors. Baseball’s Joe Torre and former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani kicked off the evening by focusing on the children and family charities supported by Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope. 

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a heart felt welcome from Susan Lucci and Wayne Gretzky to the King of Golf, Arnold Palmer. Hall of Fame football stars Carl Banks, Marty Lyons, Harry Carson gave quarterback greats Dan Marino and Boomer Esiason and full team welcome. Highlighting the Dan Marino Foundation as part of the Friends of Life program.

Finally concluding with a special performance by Alicia, as her foundation—Keep a Child Alive— was befitted.
